Produced “Wat een poppenkast!/What a charade!” This 20 plus minute satirical puppet show had a 8 episode first run at SBS. Working with puppets, voice actors and a multi-camera studio setup was a great opportunity to hone my entertainment television skills. Also working within Talpa productions was a good experience as it is one of the biggest television production companies of the world.

In this position, being responsible for media productions, client acquisitions and negotiations. I headed the studio where I implemented changes to increase productivity and cut operating costs, developed the online marketing of VideoWerkt and impleneted Google Apps. Lastly I started a new sub-brand called BedrijfsVideoWerkt, for low-cost high volume corporate video productions.

This portfolio was created within the company and required a producer-like approach. I achieved my goal of increased revenues with a particular focus on E-books. My idea to digitize and re-market archived titles contributed to an increase in revenue. As Head Talent Manager I was set the goal to create a team of managers and to recruit, train and maintain a network of 2500+ freelancers in sixteen countries worldwide. Through drive and ambition I built such a network within a year and handed this over to my team who could maintain the network while it grew using the SOPs I wrote and developed. I improved the production processes and training of the freelancers so the ratio of first-time-right videos rose from 20% to 80%. This was based on an average of 800 videos per week.

I was fortunate to have worked on many media productions, including the feature film Pietje Bell 2, some documentaries and various advertising projects. I had the chance to develop television pilots and pilots for online products. Working as a fixer for foreign crews brought with it a range of skills refinement. Working on international set, working with national and international agencies and clients grew my knowledge base. When I decided to sell my company and venture into avenues of the media world it was to explore media. I love being creative, being able to develop ideas.
